this. manga in Japan is the equivalent to novels here in the US. It's taken very seriously and highly respected.

my brother had a co worker from japan who told me that after the day that weekely jump drops the next day all dem nikkas would be talking about their mangas at lunch break..keep in mind these are like 30 - 50 year old nikkas reading shounen manga

ayo manga is a serious art medium in japan...almost everyone in japan age 4-50s reads some form of manga either it be shonen, seinen, shojou etc..the deepest manga i've read by far is beserk, gantz, monster and 20th century boyz

I'm over here at work and at lunch time we talk about that shyt non stop. They are cracking up because I know the shyt better than they do some times. And I get advance copies of the issue. The new issue comes out Wednesday normally on the internet and the next Monday in the stores. I get the jump on their asses!

Hmm, one thing I noticed is that Madara mentioned that he "had" five brothers, however Izuna (the one who later "gave" him his eyes) is the only one we've heard about. At this point I'd assume that at least one died in war, to set up a parallel to Hashirama. But what happened to the other two brothers?

Well, let's remember that Madara and Izuna both had the Mangekyou Sharingan at some point. And how do you obtain the Mangekyou Sharingan? You kill the person closest to you. In Sasuke's case, he got it from killing Itachi. Did Madara and Izuna do the same?

Or in other words, will Madara/Izuna kill their other two brothers (maybe in some sort of deathmatch?) in order to upgrade their Sharingans? Seems like Oda might be setting that up as a way to show how brutal the Uchiha Clan was.

Plus, if that happens, it would make sense that Madara would later be so salty about allying with the Senju Clan, and then not even being Hokage. After all, it would basically mean three of his brothers died just for him to get the eternal Mangekyou, and after all that they're just like "Nevermind, we decided to squash this beef lol", making all his brothers' deaths for nothing.

Madara eluded to having the Sharingan already tho...unless you mean that's the point where he's says fukk the village, fukk the Senju and fukk the Uchiha that ride with them. But its not until they get much older that they establish Konoha right?

yeah izunas death happens after the formation of konoha..izunas death was the turning point for madara so we can assume the village had something to do with his death..

Dope chapter though. I always laugh when people say this is a kids manga. American kids can't even watch shows like 24 or Walking Dead. You think they'd be allowed to read the unedited versions of Naruto?

I mean I would have, but these lil fukks shoot up schools and fight teachers in 2013. If kids read and understood mangas like Naruto, the leaders of today wouldn't be such greedy fukktards. Think about it. No really, take your snarky hat off for a sec and think about the themes in this manga.

Got the kids watching Spongebob, while 7 year olds are getting murked, not sent to another dimension, DEAD, in this manga.
