I don't care if this person was a close friend of Pablo I don't care if he was top goon for Pablo Escobar. The fact that this clearly African heritage Columbian is going by the nickname Blackie offends the fukk out of me and I wish the actor would have turned down the role for that reason.

You're american + you're black. Typical black americans tend to be more sensitive to anything race related in comparison to others in the diaspora. Truth is what's offensive here isnt necessarily offensive there and vice versa. You must understand and accept that. It's not for you as an american to decide what should be offensive to a columbian living in columbia just like it's not ffor them to tell you the same.

Mofos always look at situations from ONLY their own points of view. I mean i do it too sometimes but before i open my mouth and say some dumb sh!t i'll make sure to analyze the other person/culture's perspective. Like the "n!gga" thing. I 'm blacl but you never hear me say n!gga because from what iunderstand its offensive to black americans. Which is fine But it also drives me crazy with how they call each other n!gga. Then again i have to analyze their perspective on it and .. I get it to some degree. I'd still rather not hear mofos call each other n!gga when around white people at least.
There is also the black and mullato/metisse thing. Again, mostly U.S. only nonsense but different elsewhere. You can only accept it and move on

Blackie was not a real nickname of anybody associated with Pablo Escobar.

The person he's supposed to be potraying, was actually nicknamed Tyson because he looked like Mike Tyson.
