I think Roland Martin misses the point. Bill Maher is talking about winning elections while Roland whom I like btw, is pretty much saying, "hey guys! Don't forget about us!" Yet, what he fails to either realize or mention is that Democrats bet the whole house on feminism, transgender folks, gays, gender wars, along with politics as usual represented by a female lifetime politician with the personality of a drying white paint. And the DNC placed that wager on identity politics during an age of rampant populism.
