VP was always meant to be Kamala’s swan song. The party was going to move both her and Joe Biden out of the way after his first term but Joe decided to stay on. Newsome and Gretchen both had campaigns in waiting for Joe to announce he wasn’t running in Janurary everyone was operating as if he was a one term president behind the scenes.

when she was initially thrown out as a candidate and has been talking my ear off since the L about how she was a bad choice. Even IF they made a fuss about her not being picked they ultimately would’ve fell in line. They vote 90% blue no matter who the candidate is. I’d have called their bluff. For the good of the country
