MK11 biggest issue is it tried too hard to be Street FighterBlending the best aspects of MKX and MK11 into a new game would make that game untouchable.
I love Kustom Variations but we need the old meter system back and more diverse combo routes. I'm torn on the run, but if non-run movement is sufficiently fluid, I can do without it.
MK11 is only fluid for certain characters i.e. those who can abuse aerial tactics e.g. Kabal and Kung Lao or that have fast walk/dash speeds e.g. Rain.
Since MK9 NRS has been serious about trying to make a fighting that has the respect of it's peers.
MKX mastered it because it had the perfect balance of legit fighting game(there's still some wtf shyt ) and the insane Mk fukkery
MK11 was a direct response to some people thinking MKX was TOO fast and overwhelming. It's a fair game, but it's probably TOO fair
I'm attached to run because I played Dvorah and she had run cancels, but MK9 had good movement without run
