The Recession and The Massacre

Jeezys best album. It didn’t have the impact TM101 did which is viewed objectively has a classic but god damn this album is great from beginning to end.

Same with The Massacre. The singles got overplayed but the music and songwriting is some of Fifs best m. Especially if you listened to a lot of g unit radio.

I agree with you on both albums.

Yet young vlack teenagers second album is actually a possible personal classic.

My graf crew was crazy for the record at the time.

I never agree.
Yet i remember it being a point of conversation. Many may not have had in nature frfr.

Yet my graf crew as teens.
swore on that.

Plus it had a freaky tape setup. Where the whole album was on one side. So you never had to rewind it.
Just flip it over. To run it back. You just had to flip it over.

The volume is too much to keep up with from the suggestions.
Where rhe lqck of quality in the marketplace. Was too much to manage after so many suggesstions. Never netted a find.
The review of albums slowed because the marketplace does not have soubd quality or marketing. To permeate and make the consumer aware. Npw everyone has a tailored feed. It will get difficult because of oversaturation. To even find a socalled great song everyone knows moving forward.

i think having a history subforum in the booth for classics would be amazing, but you'd need more posters, obviously. i will admit i am smoking some weed right now but it could be kinda amazing if a lot of old school cats joined up and started posting about historical events in rap. i could sit here and read that all day long. not just fukkery i mean important things. it seems a damn shame that theres so little appreciation for old school rap. every city you go to has a classic rock fm station on the radio but rap gets no love. personally, i hate it, and i want to help.. but im not a rapper... its not really my place to do that. im a indian dude from oklahoma who played in a few rock bands lol. but im a huge hiphop head and i have a serious encyclopedic love for music and if i could help preserve some stuff that would be forgotten otherwise, i would love to help. i cant imagine how much has been lost already. reading about Paul C and early Organized Konfusion made me care about it.

oh im just generally a music history nerd. paul c fascinated me as soon as i learned about him (pharoahe monch is one of my favorite emcees so i was reading about him and found paul mckasty from the S2P days) and his murder really fukked me up! but he seemed to train a militia of soldiers on that sp-12 - didnt he teach erick sermon large professor? online i saw gossip saying his wife was involved with his death over money but hell, who knows?

stories like that fascinate me. the 'what could have been' stories. but i will say, what paul c could've been makes me sad as hell.

terminator x is still out there somewhere, too. probably raising some goofy ass llamas in north carolina. i mean if thats his dream, FINE. but he deprived the world of his talent!
