Name a rapper who you feel their legacy would improve greatly if they died in their prime?

Compared to how they are right now?

Look at someone like Eminem. Let’s say he died 2 weeks before 8mile came out. The lasting memory people would have of him is Lose Yourself. He would have those first 3 albums and none of the nonsense that has plagued him since bush’s second term.

I do think there would still be some sort of critical revaluation of those projects in terms of aging but not as damaging as releasing revival.

I think he would be higher on a lot of lists

Buckshot Shorty...ppl forget that a lot of east coast rappers were trying to sound like him before Nas and BIG blew up, and Raekwon dropped a solo

Imagine how 50 would be remembered if he got murked in 2005, or Kanye after his first 4 or 5

Kurupt in 1996 before DR imploded...dude was one of the best in the game at the time, and hadn't yet gotten lazy w/ the flow & pen.

Don't get me wrong, Dillinger and Young Gotti, and Streetz a Mutha are dope af, but they aren't 92-96 level Kurupt

I don't remember Kool G having a bad album, but if he died half way through his career, his whole catalog would be considered classic.
