I actually have this weird obsession of taking pics of cars like this whenever I pass them and it is actually more common than people think.

This set is valentine's day this year and I happened to pass this car in the parking lot while getting carry out for me and my girl at the time.

Its mental illness and trauma. I listened to a podcast with the host of Hoarders and he went in to detail about it. Usually for most hoarders it starts with the death of a loved one. The things they hoard have sentimental value and they can't let it go. When they asked him why they don't just clean the place up after they get them out the house he said its the worst thing you can do. If you don't get to the root of why they hoard they will go right back to it. Said they've done that before and in the span of a week it was just as bad or even worse.

A lot of older people are hoarders even to a mild degree, they’ll keep random newspaper articles from the 80’s for example.
