That was a shyt show and I take back the support I gave them lol. The initial plan was for live fact checking, which Trump's team rejected and forced them to drop. He also demanded Faulkner be added to the panel and you didn't need to watch much to realize she was feeding him life lines. Some of which he outright refused to take, mind you lol.

I'm glad he's out in the open being questioned though. He's an insane, demented, weird man and more voters need to see him doing stuff like this because it makes it clear he should never be in the WH again.

It’s not even money. NABJ thought they’d finally be the ones to get him to do shyt he’s refused to do for almost a DECADE at this point and pad their resumes.

They pictured the org name in headlines and the org president on morning news shows being praised for doing the right thing. This was extremely self-serving, and the cost was one of the few safe spaces black journalists have, disrespect to black women, and shunning their base.

It's a mess. And it's TRIPLE bad that they put women up there with him. You knew what this was going to be. It doesn't serve anyone, no one learns anything new, no one feels seen or heard. Insane. Such terrible management and only solidifies stereotypes about black organizations. The moment he refused the fact check is the moment he shoulda had the invite revoked. There's so many people that could have served as key notes. But instead we're here talking about how goofy and dogshyt that 35 minutes was.

The only positive is that Harris' campaign has some new fodder. But that wasn't worth the NABJ torpedoing what little credibility (black) journalists have left.
