San Francisco supervisors have expressed support for an ambitious reparations plan that would include a $5 million lump-sum payment for each eligible Black person, among other measures.

This is what folks mean when they say reparations isn't just a "check". Comprehensive uplift to rebuild black businesses, education, agriculture, housing, and more has to be included along with a check.

Obama made it harder for Black people when he cut pell grants, but again, reparations would help with that. Jobs? We already have jobs. We need capital and more businesses, which we've been denied. If you took time out to read up on this, you would know the proposal is for every person and they created a specific committee including economist to investigate the feasibility of reparations for their city.
