Though common, that’s a stupid reason to go to a school. We seriously have to reshape how students decide what to do after high school. They make terrible decisions and adults are not helping.
My wife and her family are originally from Florida. They have said the school systems down there didn’t used to be so slanted off minorities in the mid and late 90’s but when the 2000’s came the foolishness ramped up.

Try to be around like minded individuals and get a partner before you go out into the world where you have to fend for yourself AND on top of it try to find a partner in a sea of unfamiliar faces, most of which aren’t going to look like yours. I ended up with someone of another race but I’m pretty sure if I went to an HBCU I’m sure I’d have locked someone down while I was there.

Ok, you haven't benefitted. I haven't either. Do you personally know of someone who benefitted from DEI? I don't. Do you even know of someone who personally knows someone who benefitted from it? I don't. Telling students to jeopardize a guaranteed college scholarship for the sake of a program not even solely directed at Blacks is idiotic. Which LGBTQ students are being told to turn down scholarships in Florida? How about Asians and Latinos? We have decades of data showing how White Women benefited more from Affirmative Action programs than Black males. If you think DEI will benefit Blacks more than Latinos, Asians, and especially the LGBTQ community, you are a fool.
