I'm not saying Florida's socially and economically on par with the North Eastern states by any mean. Very few states are. I've lived in Haiti, Miami, Costa Rica, San Antonio and Atlanta. I accept each for what they are. I like New York and London and Paris but I also understand that if I were to move to these places (which part of me wants to) I have to give up certain things and accept some others that comes with living in those places. I had a job offer in my company in Joahannesberg South Africa 3 years ago. I'm surei would have had to give up a lot of things that I have here but i'm sure i would discover others there. I eventually punked out and turned it down. Right now my next move seems to be either Texas or San Diego. I'm sure I'll miss Atlanta but the reason im'm moving to these places must be worth giving up what i'm leaving behind. Such is life, my friend.

What I can say about Florida is that there are serious extremes. You got some real ignant mofos and then you got people who speak perfect English. It's like there's no in between. Guess it depends on where you live.
