The 215
this has been a topic since as far back as i can remember (early 90's). when i was a kid i listened to dmx, lox, pac, big, red n meth....at the same time i was listening to dead prez and public enemy and even gospel. i knew the difference between right and wrong, even tho i was poor; selling/abusing drugs or killing people never crosssed my mind. 99% of the kids (mostly non-white school) in my school listened to rap but were not into crime. we all graduated and not behind bars.

negativity gets more press than positivity. theres a lot of positive that people choose to ignore. the booth and locker room focus on negativity so they can get daps and what not for the internet rep. these types of topics i feel are only brought up to bash the black community rather than to be constructive. in fact most of the topics in these sections are focused on non-white people in negative light.

really tired of the same bullshyt topics that keep getting posted by the same group of posters it seems. its obvious theres some sort of agenda.
The agenda is these nikkas ain't shyt irl so try to come online and become some new age revolutionary. Most people that listen to the music aren't committing crimes because if that's the case most of the posters who are late 20's and up should be in jail doing life bids using their logic

For people with kids do you let your kids listen to hip hop uncensored?

Hell no.... I don't even listen to hip-hop/rap radio stations when my kid is in the car. And when the top 40 stations play something too suggestive, I change that too.

My daughter knows all the catchphrases from ATL sports radio, but has no clue who Future is. I'm sure one day one of her friends will tell her, but she still not gonna know any of his music before middle school, when I have less control of her access to music.

She has to use the computer in the common area and everything. Music is too ridiculous to notbe strict about it.

Son that was a joke

Mysone is a hater

Not sure I agree with everything he said being hate honestly. I seen the same video Mysonne was talking about last year where Future said he doesn't do drugs. Future coulda just been bullshytting but it is lowkey :patrice: at the same time.

nikkas love to downplay the harm that music can do to our community...

It's some lowkey c00n shyt they way nikkas spin shyt because it has a nice beat

I love hip hop like everyone else but this junkie shyt that's being pushed is not the wave

They have no idea that theyre literally ASSISTING the tactics of white supremacy when they do this. The white man sits back and laugh when he sees silly negroes defending this shyt. The music that floods the airwaves promoting and glorifying a destructive lifestyle is BY DESIGN. Music itself is one of the most powerful forces in the universe. Hiphop has the potential to change the mindset of an entire generation of blacks for the better. They know this and thats why they took control of the artform. Hiphop back in the day was motivating and inspiring black people:

The powers that be saw the positive affects this new artform called "hiphop" was having on the minds of black people so they seized control of it and are now using it for THEIR benefit.

You are a fukking idiot if you think this is "just entertainment" in 2017. Its not. Its psychological warfare directed mainly at young, impressionable black minds:

Its also being used as an assault on the black image and reputation.

You can, but if you disrespect another man by what you say you have to be prepared for what comes with it

Today, he just called Troy Ave a bozo and a fraud. So if Troy Ave pulls up on him and beefs starts, it's on Mysonne.

I can't tell you that I think you're a p*ssy and expect you to sit there and take it. If I say something to disrespect you, then I need to be prepared for you to do something to me.
umm yeah that goes without saying. Of course there can be consequences to any mans actions. But you can't be a coward and not call out when you see something or someone that's wrong in fear of they may get mad.

The better question is why would adults even want to listen to this dumbed down ass music?

Get the instrumental, enjoy the beat and call it a day.

Also FYI songs like Mask Off play on national radio with its drug references uncensored. It's unrealistic to think parents can shut down all of their kid's access to music. It's not as simple as it used to be. nikkas got youtube, spotify and apple music now.
i bet you won't hear drug references like those on the pop stations :martin:

Stop talking bout crimes. How about the drug use. How about the promoting of lean and prescription pills.

Threads like this is exactly why black people need to learn our history and become knowledgeable on the tactics of white supremacy. The intentional manipulation of music to affect black minds is real. hiphop is also under the umbrella of "media propaganda". Media propaganda is under the umbrella of "systemic oppression" . Media propaganda is currently one of the most effective weapons of white supremacy.

Hiphop is being used to keep blacks in the mindset that THEY want us in. You're not gonna hear music encouraging blacks to spend at black establishments and to be responsible with our money. But your ALWAYS gonna hear music telling blacks to throw our money away, make it rain in clubs and to give our money to "others". Why do you think the word "foreign" is used so frequently in rap?:

Hiphop is the most popular, powerful and influential artform on planet Earth and we dont control it. Again, your a fukking imbecile if you think this shyt is "just entertainment" and isnt being used against us.

If the music influence you to do dumb shyt then you're fukking stupid and so are your parents. End of story, nothing else to say about it. Just nikkas looking for any reason to shift blame of why they're failures onto other people like usual :heh:
