How? He’s not using force. Being on the show isn’t essential to her well being either. No threats of violence or holding her against her will, so this isn’t coercion either. If the genders were flipped, everyone would be saying the guy overreacted when propositioned by the woman.

I hate this phrase so much. It implies women are innocent and childlike, incapable of recognizing pending harm. If women want equal rights, they need to take the same accountability a man would in this circumstance, otherwise there is no consistency.
