the instrumentation ain't bad, u just gotta work on your voice. You aren't singing with any conviction and it sounds like you're talking and afraid to let loose...that has nothing to do with a microphone, but your delivery. Keep workin on it.

I would like to hear you add some backing vocals. MJ always would do that on his songs. Maybe do the opposite of what he would and go all out on the backing and be lowkey on the main. But have the background volume lowered.

It's the layering of sounds that make songs. It gets people wondering how did they do that?

Honesty breh I know the vocals aren't up to par...how is the music?

The singing detracts from it quite a bit. You might have been better actually using old time computer voice sounding auto-tune for the lyrics. It would have in my opinion fit the sound of the music better. The music itself reminds me of a 4bit Japanese videogame cover of 'Off The Wall'. Like something that would have been made for a Michael Jackson video game back in 1980. So not really knowing what sound you are trying to go for, that is my honest impression of your cover.

It is not terrible at all, but it does seem more dated than the actual song itself. Though I have to admit that 'Off The Wall' is a timeless classic, so it will be difficult for you to make something that will hold up to it in comparison even as just a cover.
