Rae has dropped multiple duds without RZA, some back to back. nikkas ain't going for the bullshyt is allSome of y'all riding rza dikk a little too hard.
Rza fell off eventually, but Rae been saying he fell off in 97. That’s just not true.First off the second one is alright imo. Not the best beat but on some early 2000's commercial shyt it was okay.
Secondly, he didn't have the best ear for beats himself but cmon breh RZA's beats was iffy after a time. Even listen to Better Tomorrow. RZA did lose a step production wise and it's just a fact.
A real producer would have cultivated their projects kinda like a Westside Gunn and let others make the beats and just picked them or take a step further like Dre and tweak them but RZA doing whole projects after awhile would have been a bad idea.
Because sampling is way more expensive than it was 20 years ago. Someone said it is much different when you have to pay $1000 for a beat than $10000. Reason why people like him, Kanye and Premo don't sample, shyt is too expensive.Rae says RZA won't go back to gritty soulful beats and he only wants to make new shyt without samples. Rae said the Wu always asks to hear his old beats but he always pushes new beats on them. He also said RZA doesn't listen to any modern music, so he never knows what the current sound is. And he said Shaolin vs Wu-Tang was basically his idea of how a Wu-Tang album should sound without RZA.
Rae said him and Ghost don't mind giving up the rights to their royalties if the music benefits for it. It seemed like Rae was more concerned with making classic music they could draw a big crowd and tour with rather than trying to make money off album sales.Because sampling is way more expensive than it was 20 years ago. more like 50% . There were some good cuts on it. It's a hell of a lot better than Ghost Dog, but that was in the 90s so we won't discuss that.

He only mentioned Ghost. Ghost has said himself he doesn't make money off album sales cuz he wants the best possible beats, so he's willing to give up 100% royalties. I'm sure they could pay very little for the sample rights if they give up all their royalties. But, as you said, who knows what the other members would think of that.Where did the other 6/7 members fall on this idea?
Also again who name going on production and who the sampled groups going to come see for their bread?
Can you perform the sampled songs ?
I can tell you right now Baby Uey ain’t going for that.He only mentioned Ghost.
