I always :pachaha: when I see a WorldVentures drone pop up in my social newsfeeds.

They be holding up a sign saying "You should be here!" :takedat:

Meanwhile they in Swampass, Tenn. in a Motel 6 banquet room posin' 4 a pic with a celebrity that hasn't been relevent in 10+ years. :deadrose:
My own aunt and her friends schemed my mom (her sister), my sister, my uncle (her brother) and 4 of their 1st cousins out of damn near 15 stacks with that Susu shyt a couple months ago:wow:

shyt tore apart my family:wow: fukk whoever created pyramid schemes
Wait, brother! Susu is NOT a scam but unfortunately it's done by a lot of untrustworthy ppl. Then we black ppl turn around and complain about our condition. Truth is the bedrock of business and finance.

My cousin dragged me and my mom to some Ameriprise presentation. Looks like they financial advisors but I'm not too sure. Prolly a pyramid scheme. I'm just trying to make it thru the night without causing a scene. Anyone know anything about them? This last checking people in was asking for my email and phone number and I was like I ain't got one. Not trying to get no spam calls from them.

Just a heads up, there is this MLM company called NovaTech that is this FX/Crypto platform. Have a cousin that just tried to recruit my father. Had him on a Zoom call and everything. Father told him he wanted to check with his sons first. Cousin and his “coach” got excited and wanted him to invite my brothers and I to a meeting. Cousin doesn’t know I work in high finance. Told my father don’t get involved and sent him links to pages detailing NovaTechs scammy ways. Told him to forward to my cousin. Don’t get involved with them.

Some dude at the gym tried to sell me on Amway a few months ago. :snoop:

Now I gotta let that gym cool off for a bit, which sucks because it's right down the street from me. :why:

I also can't go to Panera Bread for a while, which sucks because I love Panera. :sadcam:

got approached for amway about a month ago. They decorated real nice at first talking bout a mentorship program:mjlol:
Our first meeting, I asked the guy, why would someone choose to buy products through this vs going directly to amazon?
Dude stumbled for a couple a seconds and was like...friendship:russ:
He never saw or heard from me again:pachaha:

This is exactly what dude did to me. They purposely don't tell you it's Amway until 2-3 meetings in. At that point they hope you like them enough to keep going along with it.

Amway was bad enough, but the "World Wide Group" dude was part of (which is some sort of training arm for Amway) was basically a cult. I ended up going to one of their seminars, which was in a packed convention hall. shyt was full of religious overtones and right-wing bootstraps talk. :scust:

Plus for all the talk of becoming an 'independent business owner' it's pretty much another shytty corporate job wiith the same type of politics and culture. You have to go to these boring ass meetings in some random person's house for four hours every two weeks, listening to the same shyt over and over. Then they make you pay out of pocket to go to these 'leadership conferences' that are potentially all over the country, and if you don't do it, they basically shame you for it.

One thing the dude told me that was a real red flag was you had to 'consult' with your upline if you want to date somebody. :wtf: They also have an explicit rule saying you can't mess with anybody's wife. At first I was like :why:, but then I realized it's because when you join Amway, the other people doing it become your only friends, because you've alienated or recruited everybody else in your social circle. So there's a good chance you start catching feelings for somebody's wife because you're stuck hanging out with these people for several hours every week.
