Lmao I remember back in college my former barber was always trying to ring me into that shyt and clowning me for being in college instead of making money. The first time he told me about it, he gave me a cut and then asked me to follow him to his car. Breh led me into the parking lot, popped his trunk and had all these books and products. He gave me a pamphlet and told me to read up on the shyt. The way he was talking I could tell he was hustling, and later he confirmed it by admitting he wanted to sell me the products so I could sell them to other people.
It's a scam that attracts sharks. Lot of these people know it's bs but want to ring their family and friends into it so they can get money.

Had a call with a Primerica rep today about insurance. I can see why they're on the border of legitimate and pushy MLM
(1) they provide a legit/useful service: Insurance
(2) I didn't feel like I was being fed BS
(3) It's not really scammy
BUT As I progressed through the call and got to the end I realized the offerings are a front for their recruitment,. Which in turn will lead you to sell/recruit your friends and family. EVERYBODY doesn't need to be or is qualified to be an insurance salesman or investment "expert"
