Bumping because I got some things to say :russ: 1) My dad and his wife were in that prepaid legal services shyt back in like 2011-2014 or so. It’s funny because my dad always prides his wife on being “college educated” but couldn’t see the bs. Back then I didn’t know about MLM’s but now I’m like :mjlol::mjlol: My dad and his wife were tryna sell EVERYONE that shyt

2) When I was 16 I was still in school and a letter from Vector Marketing came to the house talking about an interview. Me needing a job I was like:feedme: but was like damn how tf did they even get my address if I didn’t even apply:jbhmm: I went to the interview and it was in a business plaza across from a auto parts store. Me and this black dude got into the interview. I forgot why I got rejected but yeah the crakkka with enough gel in his hair to supply a jello factory said I couldn’t get it. I obviously was mad asf. My mom was like you don’t want a commission job anyway you want something hourly. Couple weeks ago I was watching r/mlm compilations and vector marketing popped up talking about a scam. So I did my googles and bam hellla shyt popped up :skip: To think if I didn’t get rejected, I would’ve been one of them nikkas selling cutco knives :pachaha::pachaha:

Same thing happened to me in highschool. Luckily something didn't feel right and I backed out of going to the interview the day of

you must not have been there for them lawsuits that snapback at the end of most of those pyramid schemes :russ:

the top people take the dough and offload it somewhere and when shyt falls through only the top people who run it get paid
its best to rob that bytch while you're in because they cant call the cops on themselves and then dip the fukk out to never be seen
The favorite one ive seen is the vacation timeshare shyt that they sold to old people. Got all these down payments and dates for vacations in the next year ... then got targeted and all that deposit money disappeared and everyone played dumb and ran :mjlol: mad angry old people thinking they were going on a cruise or to some beachfront property for a week for 2g's

I wasnt in that but my girl was, and she was their accountant... she stole physical shyt but never touched the money and she should have.

My boy is in the Forex thing. All the time on Instagram he's posting a whole bunch of people getting into the Platinum club and all this motivational crap. Some seminar had signups for $200 and the deadline was end of December. But surprise surprise, there's a special promo and it's been extended to the 14th of January.

They all post the same shyt. "My team making money. Let me teach you" A whole bunch of trends and shyt. And reposting their teammates stories of them getting to quadruple platinum diamond general status. And all these people making all these racks have the bummiest shyt. I know dudes with no bread and shytty jobs flashing harder than these cats. Maybe they should take lessons on how to front from them. :mjlol:

A recent dap got me back in this thread thinking about how I decided to help a coworker out on one of these. She was talking up Primerica back in like October. She was trying to get put on with them and one day early in the week she asks me if I could help her with her training. So I'm like ok, I'll do you the favor. So that Friday I go to one of their offices to meet up with her so her mentor can give me their little spiel. All the info about how they sell life insurance and whatnot and invest your money and you get people working under you. I told the guy I was gonna wait and see how it went for my friend and then decide. He was like oh no thats not the way to do it yada yada and whatnot. And went on with is little script. I'm over there acting a fool not knowing what compound interest or investing is just to make him think he was gonna trick me into being recruited. My friend even helped out with the presentation since she was basically training to do that herself. Around this time she started a new IG page with all these inspirational and motivational financial quotes. So the guy gave me some paperwork to keep and I left. Threw the papers out on my way home when I stopped at Walmart or somewhere to buy some things. A few weeks back I asked my friend on her main IG account what happened to her other motivational account and all that Primerica talk and she didn't say anything back. :russ: She must've smartened up and seen it wasn't gonna get her rich like she thought or they claimed. :mjlol:

I'm future RVP!!
I have a friend that has been dabbling with this scummy company for damn near a decade and does the same goes to the conventions post the same shyt online, but is broke with 2 kids struggling and ain't got shyt to show for it, still ain't an RVP and still only has 1 or 2 people under her that don't really close on policies. When these people believe in the dream there is no telling them they can legit have their own business making money for themselves not others on more consistent bases. but they be like :rudy: I have to work on my business :duck:. Lately she been on that Beach Body wave too trying to sell me shakes and be a coach. Nah I'm good.:camby:

Apparently World Ventures haven't been paying commissions.

A lot of the big time earners with them have left the company.

I ddi cutco and the knives are legit. I sold a few and quit that shyt though. Eventually I sold my demo knife set on eBay for a couple hundred dollars.

Same thing happened to me in highschool. Luckily something didn't feel right and I backed out of going to the interview the day of
Same thing happened to me my freshman year of college. I remember seeing ads posted on campus talking about flexible work for students. I thought it was work study or some shyt like that, especially since I saw the web address to apply for a job written on a chalkboard in one of my classes. I was like, well if its being advertised in the classroom it must be legit:ehh:

I wrote the weirdly specific address down. "collegejobsforyou.com" or some shyt like that, went home and pulled it up.

Something felt immediately off because the website I went to was super vague and didn't offer me anything to google. I still filled out my info and hit apply though:patrice:

But something felt more than off when I got a call like 20 minutes later asking if I could come in for an interview that day. It was like 4 in the afternoon mind you:dwillhuh:

Plus the chick on the phone sounded like she was in high school:stopitslime:

I remember asking her specific questions about the position and she kept beating around the bush and telling me it would be explained during the interview. I lied and told her I couldn't come in that evening cuz I had to go to church:troll: but she pushed me into scheduling for the next day.

I immediately went back to google and started doing all kinds of searches until I found something on vector marketing/cutco. I spent like 2 hours reading about how that shyt was basically a scam to get you to rope your family and friends into buying knives:mjlol:

I called back the next day to cancel the interview, and when she asked why I told her ass I didn't wanna sell knives to my family and friends:mjlit:

That legit started my fascination and anger with mlm's, pyramid schemes, and scams. I was actually pretty furious that my school let that shyt ride. I erased that web address off the chalkboard:birdman:

Is the loom scam trending near anyone else ?? Mfs about to lose all their lil stimulus check:mjlol:

You cashapp a person a 100 dollars and your name gets added to the board on the outside layer. When the board is full the center person cashes out and everybody else moves up a spot and continues trying to get the board filled for their chance at cashing out
