I feel you but I feel like with the Knicks, this wierdly false prestige has been been talked into existence by both the fans and by the Knicks haters...
It makes them the punching bag.

With NY, in regular life and on the Coli, Twitter, etc, when anything goes left with this team... It's an all out verbal onslaught.

Don't overreact, Knicks were just 2 games behind the Cavs a couple of weeks ago. We have one of the strongest starting 5's in the NBA. Rose will be out there attacking the basket like nobody business...I mean he is by far the best PG we have had in years. Holla at me when the Bucks and 76'ers are making any moves. Even if you discount rose, the supposed leader of this team gets ejected whenever he doesn't feel like playing anymore. He has to go already. If Dolan wasnt such loser I would bench melo until he accepted a trade

A couple weeks back I questioned the talk some people were having about extending Rose before the season was over...
Since that time everything I have seen has led me to think I was absolutely right.....there is no way in God's name I would extend him until this season was over and I saw what the market was offering

I don't understand Melo's frustration. None of his actions have ever led me to believe he was serious about winning a championship. He wasn't even willing to take less money like his contemporaries to team up with real talent. He's added nothing to his game over the years. Nothing. Yet every offseason we have to hear the same tired story from him about his new diet, new workout, new socks-- and how it's going to be the difference maker.
