After seeing how close he was with his mom from that MVP press conference it's more than understandable.
I get it, but he would've told his friends/agent/handlers that. I can't imagine him not sending a quick "family emergency gotta go back home" text to the team or his agent. Nobody knew where this dude was, but after the game when it's already blown up, you can let people know you're okay. It's just strange

With NY, in regular life and on the Coli, Twitter, etc, when anything goes left with this team... It's an all out verbal onslaught.
