Beloved, after they drafted Giannis they tanked the following year. They traded Jennings for Middleton and Knight, they let Ellis go, they moved JJ Reddikk for some 2nd rounders, they let Dunleavy go and basically dumped salary and veterans left and right, they did the exact opposite of what he Knicks did after they drafted Kristaps.

They did everything in their power that year to be awful, it's just a coincidence that in the best draft in almost a decade that the go 15-67? :dead:
Did they do the right thing by not tanking since?

That's my question. Yall look funny in the light because I don't think anyone really knows what or how to really tank.

You come in here proselytizing about why it's dumb for the Knicks to try to win games until they become an exceptionally great team, yet place this team as a champion of tanking when they aren't an exceptionally good team.

Are the Bucks doing the "right" thing according to #tanksquad #TeamWakeUpNow by NOT tanking since the Jabari season? It seems that the Bucks are out there fighting every fukking night, playing as well as they can. They can't win a Chip this year AND this year is supposed to be a deep and exceptional draft...how can you be on your high horse praising the Bucks GM for the goals for this season while lambasting the Knicks GM for not tanking.

It's funny in the light, breh.

Somehow, nikkas who grew up on basketball...not business 101...but grew up on the love of basketball are trying to make a nikka like me feel some type of way for just wanting my team to win today. nikka who grew up on basketball... thinking that cheating the system of this professional league is the right thing to root for.:hhh: Edit: 'sgust.

It makes me wonder whether these nikkas, including you, beloved, grew up around the type of men and women who put 100% effort in everything they do. shyt is spooky. It makes me think about what that storekeeper said in that ole classic movie...:jbhmm:

Whatever you do though, brethren, if you have kids, please don't let them know your thoughts on losing to win. Have them lil one's intentionally letting bullies victimize them so they can get those free hugs and "let's make shnuckems feel better" presents.:hhh: edit: 'sgust x2

"But look, you get more love and gifts that way!":mjlol: #TankForLove

breh....
they have no reason to tank...they have a young core of solid wings....one of which will be a top 3 player in the league....and one that will be top 3 in his position offensively(parker) in this league.
let alone their other solid young talent that can develop into good role players
middleton their best shooter and alternate playmaker is hurt right now...and they have a better record than us :francis:
its about developing their current talent and giving them post season experience and watching them develop...sortve like the young okc team that challenged the lakers in 2010.
going into the future...kp will not be on a team with melo 5 years from now.
tanking to get young talent to pair with KP is the ideal....dont forget that.
now we could be lucky and get a generational talent to fall mid first round like the bucks (fat chance :mjlol:) ...but its unlikely.

THEY DID :wtf:

After his rookie year they felt Giannis could be their franchise player, they tanked the following season in the most loaded draft since 2003. A team shedding salary, veterans, and getting back 2nd rounders as opposed to paying JJ Reddikk. And the Bucks should have pulled the plug on the season when Jabari got hurt, it set them back, especially after Sanders decided to give up on basketball, but the new owner learned their lesson and instead of pressing to make the playoffs last year they just went :yeshrug: and got the 10th pick.

And what are you talking about here? I been said I think the Bucks should just miss the playoffs this year while Middleton is out :mjlol: the problem there is Giannis/Parker/Brogdon are pretty good and are winning games for them. You're trying to compare the two situations where you have some aging Vets like Noah/Melo, to a team with young players that are improving. The Bucks starting lineup is 22, 21, 26, 24 and 25.....List them ages for the Knicks plehboi  the Bucks players will improve next year and the year after, will Noah and Melo?

So, tanking has its limits, then?

Even though they won't get anywhere this year, they shouldn't tank in a year where a crazy draft will pad their squad?

They have the green light to play and entertain their fans this year? This tanking mechanics gets more confusing by the day, breh. Now, I don't know whether Philly is doing it right or the Bucks.

@ogc163 I'm a little aggy breh, can you help out?

Knicks life stay stressful! Much like my favorite TVs shows. Edge of my seat today, screaming at the tv tomorrow, hype the next day and so on.

I'm supposed to be entertained, right? I'm just not built like yall bulls, breh...I don't know how to be entertained while intentionally losing.:mjlol:

Sidenote: Dennis Smith Jr looks solid as hell! :whoo:

the bucks are in a grey area...talent wise...and within the next two years they will be challenging to make the finals...if their current talent continues to develop.
we are in no grey area.
who on the knicks that is talented enough to be an all star has room to improve every year for several years besides kristaps? no one.
do you want to be the new orleans hornets? AD...then......... then........................ok
the best teams have atleast two solidified high level playing stars.....in most cases 3
the only certainty with this roster is that kp will be great.....thats it.
dont try to bring up raising kids....you're comparing a billion dollar franchise that wants to be good ...to instilling a winning attitude in children???? :mjlol: cmon breh.

See, that's the thing.

I'm speaking purely from the love of the sport. Sports and its principles helped raise me, so it's my point of reference. I'm just wondering where their point of reference is coming from...especially when they are up in the thread on some Jim Jones Tank cult shyt.
