This happens in every down year. We get off to a respectable start and lose it in a week. Then it's mediocrity after that. We have to make some moves before the trade deadline. Defense is a major problem and we can't continue down this path.

:patrice:idk

We don't win trades breh:dame:

Lets not forget who we are:whoa:

This season isn't even a must win season. Just chill and lets uses these 3 picks to build:ehh:

At this point knick fans know melo wont kome off the bench

And a deal for Tony Allen doesn't seem imminent

What about switching Lee with holiday

Play him next to rose ..Lee has been only ok from a defensive point for mines

And let's b honest ..he is being under utilized for his scoring with the startin 5 for most part

Wit holiday in the starting 5 at the 2 , Knicks get a active defensive player which can maybe cause some real mismatch issues

Lee would eat well off Jennings dribble penetration x kick outs for some good looks ..gives the bench another look as well

Just sayi. ..might b worth a look if things don't get better

I agree with this since Hornacek said he was gonna give more minutes to whose being productive and cutting from those who aren't going forward this month. Since Melo's the type of player that could struggle offensively and then heat up outta nowhere and take over, I understand why Jeff gambles and keeps him on the floor. But if what's going on continues I could see him bringing in Holiday early for Melo if the defense is glaring, or BJ if ball movement is stagnant. This month is pivotol in how we look moving forward so I'm curious to see if we could turn it around since we just 2 games under .500. I'd be frontin if i said some of these last few wasn't hard to watch though :francis:

Hornacek isn't the coach for this team; he doesn't get guys to play hard. Same issue he had in Phoenix, he just lacks authority. He's just another guy, and the team plays like it. Melo doesn't play defense, but neither does Lebron and countless other stars. It's not that big of a deal if you have your supposed defensive stoppers (Courtney Lee, Lance Thomas) doing their job. Jodie Meeks cooked Courtney Lee.

The substitutions and personnel changes are mind boggling. Leaves guys out for way too long, plays Lance Thomas way too much.

The ownership group and the executives of basketball operations in this team are an absolute joke. The impatient “fans” who wank in a sock over Melo are a joke. It’s time for a change New York, it’s time to stop delaying the proper rebuild we need. In the NBA in order to win a championship you need to bring in talented young players and give them time to develop into a contender, Look at the Cavaliers (Kyrie and Thompson), Spurs (Duncan and Parker) and Warriors (Curry and Thompson). In order to win a championship you need to allow at least 8-10 players to build chemistry over a period of time instead of making a large quantity of changes to the roster . Look at the Cavaliers, Spurs and Warriors success at doing this. We have our Tim Duncan (Porzingis) but it’s time to invest in youth, give them time, be brave and don’t pay attention to the impatient fans who couldn’t run a convenience store. Take a look at how Cashman is running the Yankees, bringing in heaps of youth who are showing a lot of promise and the fans are loving it. PLEASE START A REBUILD KNICKS! Going for Nerlens Noel would be a start.

Seen this in the comment section on facrbook
Casual fan thinking. Warriors have an all time great team; Cavs without Lebron and Love would be worse than the Knicks. A core of kyrie and TT? Good luck.

LeBron doesn't play defense? :wtf:

Nah, Bron will coast on defense, but he's not absolutely terrible at it like Carmelo is and can turn it up when he wants to.

I'd rather slide Melo to the 4 and start Holiday over Noah. (Assuming KP is healthy).

Noah has been serviceable the past few weeks ..he hasn't as much if s problem as Lee has been

Melo gets moved to the 4 and alot of bigs will bully him and it will only b so long til that effects his offense even more

If they were to make a move should b swap Lee for Holiday fo mines and see how that plays out

Noah has to start as long as he's healthy. Either Melo or KP should come off the bench as a stretch 4. Melo thinks he's a 3 and he's not.
