Treadmill team
You're totally right. If this team doesn't tighten up on defense then we're gonna stay treadmill. I think it's been 2-3 games where we've allowed less than 100 pts. Every game I see opposing players open at the 3 pt line.

And Melo cmon breh please slow down at the end :what: couple players open on that last play . I was so frustrated watching that sequence

It's crazy how the fans perceive Melo in the building. MSG fans really are basketball savvy. The collective groans everytime Melo held the ball too long were interesting. Melo lead the charge in the quick ass comeback tho. Have to give him credit for that. That minute sequence was the most live I've ever heard the garden. That Smart 3 was brutal tho.

As bad as I want to say that the offense should run through Rose and KP at this point, them posting up Melo actually worked in the second half.

My whole section wanted Kuz out the fukking game when he kept getting attacked on defense. And this was easily some of the worst officiating I've ever witnessed live...

I think Melo shines when they're down big, dead in the water and need to go for broke.

Him and KP have a knack of making some ill-advised ignorant 3s in those situations that electrify the crowd and erase deficits. There is a place and time for hero ball.

But otherwise, it's gotta be something involving Rose/KP to at least initiany late game play action.

Everyone in there can tell when Melo wants to be the guy.

you KP fans are disgusting until KP can destroy an opponent one on one or no get the ball stripped on mismatches by 6ft 3 guards or rotate to the basket on pnr instead of going to the 3 point line or posting up at the foul line this team won't go anywhere.

I mean really it is alarming how he struggles to dominate or score on those mismatches and takes a fukkin fadeway shot you7ft 3 that shouldn't be in your arsenal.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
 aight.

I wish yall were the GMs on some Garpax shyt.

Send that resume in.

See above? And speaking of Garpax, yall didn't want Jimmy Butler & Taj Gibson for Melo when the Bulls were willing to deal for Melo because it wasn't enough, 3 years later they'd hang up the phone if you offered Melo for Butler :dead: Now you're talking about "What leverage does NY have!" comedy.

Whoever is willing to deal for Melo that would get him to waive his NTC, doesn't matter if it's a huge return, you've past that point now and just getting out from his contract before the new CBA really fukks you over should be the goal. The Knicks don't want to build through the draft, and the new CBA will make it incredibly hard to land big time free agents which is the only way the Knicks seem interested in building. That door is shutting, so where will you get these high quality players to pair with Kristaps when Melo eventually falls off even more?

Rose isn't a PG, which seems to be problematic. The overall assist numbers are alarming.

Rose and Jennings have both performed well, but they're both stop-gap options probably. Perfect year to tank for a point guard this year. Ball, Fultz, Ntilikina, Smith, or Fox would be nice:mjgrin:

Melo is a sad and textbook case of the mental holding back the physical. If he just attempted to be more efficient he could be. If he just took better shots and moved the ball around he'd be a much better player. Instead he seems obsessed with trying to have the big moment or carrying the team with his shooting.
