Don't let 'em force you to pick sides; liking Melo or KP isn't mutually exclusive. KP has a game to grow into including mentally, Melo needs to learn his limitations as his game ages; both cats are better together right now because Melo can provide guidance from a former superstar perspective and KP is a legit first option on good nights and second option on most other nights. The Melo vs KP crap has me frustrated as hell over at Realgm. I need some info on Baker's, Holiday's, Willy's, Lance's and BJ's games last night...I'll peep the second half when I get home because the first half was pretty entertaining between watching how unselfish the Warriors are which is always fun and seeing guys like Baker and Willy not back down from TOUGH assignments. I'm also curious about KOQ only playing 15. Either way, there's a lot I want to hear about but most has nothing to do with the guys that didn't play or KP who was bound to struggle in essentially his first game as the sole top option.

One thing I noticed is Durant showed a lot of love to the chef last night :ehh:

How again? 1st game he missed this season.

Yup.

After missing 50 over the last two seasons.
Just get the young guys in there now, let Hernangomez get some more touches and experience :manny:

When they put porzingis back in, in the 4th, down 20 -- I was straight up distraght.

fukk you punk ass Knicks

Why do no-name as posters always want to run up in this thread and introduce themselves to us?

They gutted the roster to trade for him, and failed to surround him with a talent until they drafted an 18 year old from latvia on a lark -- It's a shytty team, and their record hasn't been all that impressive with him on the court.

That being said -- I don't think there's a question that this team right now is better with him on the floor. Baseline: He's an above average player, and we don't have a ton of those. But he also draws plenty of attention, offered a scoring threat, and has shown the ability to spread the ball around when prompted. He also draws the best defender on most nights.

But let's not come in here beating our chests for melo, because the knicks and the player who is the future of the franchise scored against the best collections of NBA talent in basketball's modern history. Melo has had plenty of shooting nights like that with KP on the floor, and with rose on the floor.

And just as we have seen year in and year out with Melo, when you don't surround your best player with talent, they struggle.

I think this is the point in the year where everyone needs to relax a little. We are rooting for a team that is good, but very very flawed. They are going to be in the playoff hunt, but are relying on an injury prone pg, and a star player on back end of his prime. They don't play defense at all. They're gonna lose games they should win, and maybe win a few they should lose.

It's a long year, and because we have our first glimmer of hope in quite some time -- emotions run high. But we're not even at the all star break yet. Let's not hammer each other over small sample sizes and/or knee jerk reactions.

I think we can all agree that Sasha sucks, and most of the fans that come in here hating are jealous they live in podunk areas like Shady Dale, but CLAIM Atlanta, or they're from Clewiston, and claim Miami. I'd be jealous, living that far from a legitimate metropolis, too.

@I.V.

My man said,

"They live in podunk areas like Shady Dale, but CLAIM Atlanta"

:mjlol::lolbron:

See, I like stringing the trespassers along before the Coup de grace.

I.V puts them on the I.V in one post. My man. :myman:

:lupe:I'm going to wiki Florida parishes, and Georgia neighborhoods outside of Atlanta... I just added a new wrinkle to my Anti-Troll defense.
