This team is so fun to watch. I'm actually looking forward to Knicks games again.

Tangent: What's a reasonable offer for Rose this off season? I don't want to max him out but what are our other options? Looks like we're gonna be too good to draft one of these PGs and the FA prospects look bleak.

if he continues to improve....and his injuries are to a minimum...with how much people like chandler parsons and harrison barnes got paid...there is really no logical reason why rose wont command over 110+ million :francis:
personally if he stays healthy he's worth it....the added dynamic to our offense he has is undeniable and is good for kristaps development
we scored 110+ points 12 times all last year
we already did it 8 times in a little over a quarter of the year

I think they have a decent enough squad that if they remain healthy and their game plan is right they could take out their playoff rivals....

Playoff wins come down to health, preparation, effort and flexibility. You HAVE to be able to adjust on the fly in the playoffs. You are scouted far differently when you have to beat a team 4 times to advance.
Interesting how the Knicks, if they make it to the playoffs, have 3 players who could offensively keep us in most series on any given night.

Clearly, defense is still very "glass jaw" right now, though.

I'm excited to see these guys in the 'offs.

Bump.

I'm interested in an answer to this as well. I really want BOTH Rose & Jennings back on this team next year.

If Rose plays 70+ games and really turns it on during the playoffs... I want to give him something in the ball park of 23 mill per year.

I see him garnering WAY more from other teams. I could see him really enjoying himself in NY to take a reasonable deal to stay, though.

Either way, I'm enjoying his time as a Knick so much. :wow:

18 mill a year for two years?

I'd love if he took that.
:mjlol:
he wants security and stability...then money
someone will give him more than two years...he's been healthy enough for multiple years.
chandler fukkin parsons makes 23 per :mjlol:
mike conley is doing 30 per :mjlol:
and mike has been more injury prone than derrick has been the last 2 years...if we being real.
2 years and 18 per is a slap in his face in this climate and the caliber player he is.
i wish he took the MLE :heh: so we can get more players
