Knicks fans never really liked Melo.

All for the dumbest reason too.

He's not LeBron. Knicks fans forever hold that against Melo.

This is nonsense, most Knick fans I know don't hate Melo. Melo criticism is something you mostly see online. The Melo being overly criticized narrative is BS,I am old enough to remember the unfair treatment of Patrick Ewing from media, fans, and even slick comments from teammates. Ewing didn't deserve that shyt, Melo hasn't accomplished anything close to what Pat did and he shouldn't be given much leeway as a result.

Too much generalizing in here in regards to Knick fans some don't like Melo some do some want KP taking the reigns some don't. Media doesn't speak for me though and I'd prefer Melo stay here as KP is growing a lot NOW into becoming the franchise. We've been playing much better last week compared to our first games so let's keep it going. Noah is a greater concern and it needs to be decided if Quinn of Queens or Style on em Herns should be starting instead. Lance Gotdammnit Thomas doesn't need to leave the bench and should be sitting right next to Vujacic :scust:

The few times the Garden booed Melo doing his iso shyt, I felt was warranted. Doing that shyt when you have garbage around you is warranted but he has help now. There's a time and place to dribble for ten seconds before throwing up a contested mid range jumper... And it ain't in the first half of a close game

I agree and disagree

In the grand scheme of things you want the ball to touch at least 3 players hands before a shot goes up, etc. So, yes Melo is guilty of being a ball-stopper. But he's a threat to drop 40 every time he steps on that court...When you have that on your team, you take the good with the bad, most nights it's going to be good.

Ppl forget Mike was a "ball-stopper" at times
Lebron is hailed for being this ultimate team player, but if you watched the games, Bron has
his fair share of ISO every game, you have to accommodate that type of scoring threat.

I admit, maybe it's me, but Melo shot doesn't seem as wet as it use to be, especially from mid-range. Add the fact Melo has always been known as a Mole, and the new love affair for KP, that's where I think the boos are coming from

Some real short memories.

I fukk with Melo but him forcing that trade cemented how fans saw him. Him joining that squad would've been interested but Amare prolly ends up dead anyway. Plus that Knick team before the trade had solid support even if many of the players weren't shyt. They were fun and young. Any Melo comparison is married to Lebron and Wade, :yeshrug:.

Trading for Bargnani will always be the move that hurt :mjcry:
