Could you imagine how fukking etherous that would have been if he said that a day after becoming a Knick.

There would be a fukking thread on it. YIKES.

I wish him nothing but the best but that would have felt like a gut punch icing on the cake type of L considering the week we've had. :wow:

The thing is defense is effort - and from what I've read about him, his effort level at this stage is very suspect.

I'm curious to know what you guys think DSJ ceiling is since some of you are disappointed with the Frank pick.
DSJ already had a torn ACL in high school, he's a guard that plays with a lot of explosion gets compared to guys like Steve Francis, but he has a poor wingspan, he's an iffy shooter, and doesn't defend well. I think he's going to be a good player in this league, but I'm happy with the Frank pick.

an 18 year old with the physical tools already...and if he maintains his work ethic...you never can tell
:manny: he's a canvas at this point offensively...his length will always be there...if he maintains effort he'll always be a factor defensively
what he is right now may not be that great...but him around the ages of 21-22 :whoo: look out

Yup, we just need to develop our young players better. We've got some really good gems, all of em ain't gonna be starter material but they definitely can be backups and supportive.

Since Frank and I are pretty much blood brothers, I, president of his Stan club, will run the operations of all things Frank. First order, learn how to pronounce his name or GTFO. Knee-li-key-na. Work on it, you ignorant Americ00ns.

:philjacksonlol: Blood brothers? But you're a cac.

:philjacksonlol::philjacksonlol: @VegasCAC @the cac mamba Come get your boy.

Just want to shout out Brickley. He's gonna be Ntilikina's personal trainer in America. He left the Knicks to pretty much prepare and scout him in April.

There's an article about Frank that mentioned the following:

Brickley, a former player development coordinator with the Knicks, sent Ntilikina videos in recent weeks of full quarters of playoff games in which the guard play was strong. Brickley asked Ntilikina what he thought the guards did well and struggled with. Ntilikina surprised him by sending back detailed responses -- sometimes five paragraphs long -- noting intricacies like changes of pace or pick-and-roll approaches.

"It just showed his passion and knowledge of the game," Brickley said.

'The sky's the limit' for NBA draft mystery man Frank Ntilikina
