All good points, but I'm worried about some of that will translate at an NBA level, against longer, bigger, quicker athletes, both on offense and defense. He's a good athlete in the full court when he can get a head of steam, but his initial burst just isn't that great and he's gonna need to be able to create in the half court and take advantage of switches( and not just settle for jumpers and stepbacks). All elite guards nowadays can score, but right now he settles to often and puts no pressure on defenses, mainly because he can't. Working on his mid range game isn't gonna matter much if he can't turn the corner on his man consistently. He's gonna be a good player, but when teams slow the game down, how's he gonna be able to overcome his predictability? He'll be easy to game plan for in games that really matter, and unlike other players in the draft, Ball has weakness that I don't really see him overcoming, and I think that's what bothers me the most about him. Regardless, he's gonna have to go to a team where he's the number 2 or 3 guy on offense, he'll never be a #1, so in that respect, he could be a really good fit on the Knicks, especially when you factor in he'd be a good fit in the triangle:ld: with that said, so would Frank and Issac, and I think Issac is arguably the most talented player in the draft, so I'd definitely trade Ball for those two all day.

I actually really like Ball and specifically for the Knicks and KP. He's going to see over defenses and running pick and rolls/pops with KP/Willy will give him the openings to pick spots to attack or find others even in the half court imo. At 6'5 and as a pass first player with a quality wing span; he also projects as a guy you could run double PG line-ups (Hornacek loves 'em) through or have a tall backcourt that allows for a switch heavy defense (which is really useful in the age of constant high pick and rolls propelling nearly every offense in the league). I think Ball's vision and passing ability will overcome some of that explosiveness that doesn't show for him (and I'm typically biased to first step players which is why I was low on D'angelo Russell in the draft). I'm really intrigued by Isaac and Frank though, grabbing both would be something I'd chase after because they both offer versatile line-up options as well. That's a scary pair of picks as well though, you go from a guy like Ball or Jackson to two guys with high upside but much more bust potential as well. So it's a tough one, but I like both options...god I hope we move into the top 3.
