All good points, but I'm worried about some of that will translate at an NBA level, against longer, bigger, quicker athletes, both on offense and defense. He's a good athlete in the full court when he can get a head of steam, but his initial burst just isn't that great and he's gonna need to be able to create in the half court and take advantage of switches( and not just settle for jumpers and stepbacks). All elite guards nowadays can score, but right now he settles to often and puts no pressure on defenses, mainly because he can't. Working on his mid range game isn't gonna matter much if he can't turn the corner on his man consistently. He's gonna be a good player, but when teams slow the game down, how's he gonna be able to overcome his predictability? He'll be easy to game plan for in games that really matter, and unlike other players in the draft, Ball has weakness that I don't really see him overcoming, and I think that's what bothers me the most about him. Regardless, he's gonna have to go to a team where he's the number 2 or 3 guy on offense, he'll never be a #1, so in that respect, he could be a really good fit on the Knicks, especially when you factor in he'd be a good fit in the triangle
with that said, so would Frank and Issac, and I think Issac is arguably the most talented player in the draft, so I'd definitely trade Ball for those two all day.
