If the NBA lottery is rigged they really are doing a bad job favoring it for the big franchises over the years

TBF, Cleveland won with Bron, Cleveland won two lotteries after Bron left. Chicago won when Rose won. Wiz and Wall.

We've gotten screwed but other teams ate.

I do get the feeling we will get a top 3 pic. Lakers too.

But it's not like the Cavs are a premiere franchise

Neither are the wizards

The Duncan sweepstakes were huge and San Antonio won

If it was set up for the big markets and flagship franchises they sure haven't executed it well

What will be interesting is if the knicks have fox/monk and Frank available when they pick (assuming they're not in the top 3) -- they seem to like Frank, and he first a dire need.

But Monk gives them the wing scorer they desperately need, and Fox is going to be such a menace, he may be that rare PG who doesn't need to be a great shooter to be effective. Like, what if he's john wall with PLUS defense?

I'd take whoever has the highest upside. That's was why before I knew anything about KP I didn't kill the pick because it sounded like he was very raw but had a huge ceiling which I preferred over the "safe" pick like a Winslow

I'm definitely not taking Monk if I'm the Knicks. He's strictly a spot up shooter and If his shots not falling he does absolutely nothing else to help his team. But has instant offense 6th man written all over him

Frank I've never seen

Fox intrigued me with his play in the tourney. I just worry about his shooting which wasn't just bad but historically bad

You could make a very good argument that the player in this range with the highest upside is Jonathan Isaac.

As ridiculous as it may sound to you guys but I hope we get fortunate and get that no. 1 pick and seriously consider trading down to 4 or 5 and get a nice little haul plus the option to get Fox, Monk, Frank, etc.

I'm just so scared of the Knicks drafting Lonzo. I want his potential father sabotaging situation to be someone else's problem.

Imagine the Lakers get the 3 or 4 pick and we are able to fleece some of their younger guys in exchange for giving them the security of drafting Ball before anyone else gets the chance.

Phil isn't this smart.

But I also think we'd probably want a Lonzo and certainly a Fultz or Jackson
