I wonder if the Knicks trade Melo to the Clippers could they then get a Sign and Trade Blake in return and then ship him to the Celtics for this years Nyets Pick?

Like the Clippers want to keep their "core" but they won 2 games in that series without Blake and seem to be prioritizing CP3.

On the flip Blake is the perfect PF to slot next to Horford at C based on his skill set,

If they make it to the ECF and get stopped by Lebron, I could see them making a trade like that to get over the hump.

I have a feeling that cap space is going to be taken resigning youth, players coming in from the Melo trade, and the knicks taking on a contract for a pick.

Reddikk being the basis of the trade seems a bit far fetched when you look at the Cap situations of both teams.

I would not be surprised if the knicks get (and eventually move) blake in a sign and trade. Only players wanting that supermax but to play on another team would likely go through the trouble.

I want that Clippers '21 pick if a trade to the Clippers has to happen. If Phil lands Blake somehow (unlikely imo) he's gonna keep him and I don't want that. I know that '21 pick is a long ways away, but when it ends up a top 5 pick we'll be looking back like "Good job Phil".
