Good loss for the Knicks, that Pacers win really is a dark cloud on the tank right now, but they got a difficult schedule coming up so the L's should start raining down.

With that said it could be a canned response and they shouldn't be dikks. They could sign and trade rose to a contender or a maxed team and even in something as procedural as that it wouldn't be wise if Rose hated the organizations guts because them getting back a player or some second round picks would require everyone being relatively cool with each other.

Also I don't believe the rumors about who the Knicks like Phil is actually good at that part of his job

I agree, the one good thing you can say about Phil is that there ain't no more leaks coming out of the Garden. Nobody can say for sure what he's gonna do.
