He's playing with a point guard who does not feed him in position, and doesn't run the offense -- and still have become MORE efficient, and better at protecting the paint.
I would have loved to see KP become a destroyer of worlds this year, too -- but considering how much further along he was as a rookie than most thought he'd be, to turn around this season and still improve in critical areas of his game is impressive.
If the knicks would have just stuck to the plan this passed offseason, we would be looking at this year as a major step. But they fukked around, signed a bunch of old-washed-up-flabbyasses, and got a portion of the fan base hyped off 2011's 2k ratings.
The disappointment most people are feeling about this season, is relative to expectations that should never have been set. The real disappointment this year is going to be getting the 8th or 9th pick, when they should have been a scrappy but trash team we were proud of, with a top 4-5 pick.
And really, if this team ends up with Isaaa or Nkitlina... it will still be a moderate success.
