Melo is a future hall of famer, and one of the most elite scorers of this generation whether you like it or not. And the corny "fat Iverson" nickname is lame as hell, as if Iverson wasn't one of the greatest players of his era. FOH.

You act like some of it isn't warranted. They will go in on Rose for having tunnel vision, Melo for holding the ball too long, or Lance for being Lance, but rarely won't say anything when KP is bricking 30 foot jumpers, or getting out muscled in the post by smaller players.

so when is it ok for a point guard to have the ball as much as he does and only get 4 assists per.

He's only in his second year. Yall gotta learn how to be patient with him and stop reacting off emotion. Anybody who was expecting him to be an allstar caliber player in his second year is delusional.

Why can't you do the same? I've noticed how everytime some body criticizes KP you for him by bringing up Rose or Melo. Nobody is in here hating on dude, but yall act like some body bringing up his mistakes is hating on him. KP is soft like most European which is why he not as good as yall want him to be. I guarantee if he toughened up and lifted some weights he'd be more successful and have better averages. My problem is not yall criticizing Rose, I just think that yall wrongfully criticize him at times. The post that everyone is reacting to is a reach. compare derrick rose to his contemporaries that have the ball almost as much as him....his assist to turnover ratio is bad. his jumpshot is bad. his vision is bad. these are all things that are proven with eyeballs and statistics.

it's not 2011 anymore. he can do a few things well....like slash and finish....but unfortunately in today's makeup of the elite teams being good passing and shooting teams...he doesnt fit the mold of something that can ever be the best at his position ever again.
i like melo and derrick rose as people....but the shyt i see them do night in and night out make me scratch my head....and the knicks are 10+ games under 500 for a reason. those are the two leaders on the team.

I never said Rose wasn't bad at those things. I just said he gets unfairly criticized for some of the shyt that goes wrong with this team. I myself have said that Rose needs to go be a sixth man at this point in his career and criticized him for his play. The gap of criticism between KP and other players aint as big as you'd like it to be, but I understand you wanting to stick up for your future franchise player.

Rose was out of sync with the bigs in Chicago too. He has a serious case of tunnel vision.
