Naw its just funny.

Of course the ATL
It's already happened in Atlanta. Atlanta is the first city in the country to get rid of all of its public housing. The model followed by the Atlanta Housing Authority here, started in 1990 till just a few years ago (2009) is being replicated across the country, including in Brooklyn.

Great interview & documentary on the subject with Creative Loafing & "The Atlanta Way" filmmaker King Williams

I just spent a whole weekend in Williamsburg. Shins concert, eating at their best restaurants(for the love of god eat at a restaurant called Aurora) etc. I gotta say Williamsburg>>>any NYC neighborhood.

The sad thing was that I was the only minority(outside the Asians) In those restaurants. Rarely did I see a hispanic or black person eating in those restaurants or walking outside. WTF is going on? Do NYC hispanics and blacks not enjoy the good life? Hipsters are pretty harmless and welcoming. Hispanics and blacks are just close minded or think about race too much(feel out of place?). They can't all be broke. I'm certainly not rich.

Some of these hoods aren't as gentrified as we and some publications make them out to be. I was in bedstuy the other day and it's still mostly black and will stay that way for a while. I think the problem is that black people don't answer these surveys when they come around. And also real estate developers putting the word out that these hoods are changing so they can profit.

If we could afford the good life, it wouldn't even be called gentrification.

Brooklyn
Buvette. French and Italian restaurant. I took my date there, got laid afterwards.
http://www.ilovebuvette.com/

Going to keep that in my deck of cards.

I ended up going to Frankies 457 in Brooklyn the food was great.
Nice little ambiance for the biddies.

There were quite a few nice restaurants over there I need to check out.

There's a steak house called Prime Meats that looked really nice. n/h
