That third link is right around the corner from me. That's East Flatbush, not PLG. Real estate agents playing their games. I'm glad they scaled it down though. That shyt would have been tall as hell.

Yeah, they're trying to call everything PLG now lol. I'm glad it's scaled down too and it looks a lot better now imo. I was down there a few days ago and there's so much construction and new buildings I hadn't even seen pop up over the last couple of years. I guess that's Brooklyn as a whole though. Are people actually moving into the buildings? I've gotta wonder if there is the income/population at some point...

Crain’s says that a large part of the problem is that property owners treat fines as being part of the overall business operation; an existing statute of limitations means that the city can’t collect fines after eight years. Furthermore, the fines are often tied to a variety of LLCs, and as time goes on, many of these companies shutter, making it harder for the city to collect the fines.

I applaud many of you out there sticking it out, but the stories I keep hearing about NYC in regards to rent since my departure have kind of soured me on the place.

I get the whole idea of supply and demand, but it's absurd what is happening out there. Bloomberg's dream of Manhattan being exclusively for the rich and famous is on the verge of happening once they figure out a way to throw people in Washington Heights/Inwood across the hudson.
