Yeah I think even when the bubble burst, NYC will still be in good conditions because it is a destination city. NYC ain't a fukking C grade city in the middle of California.

You sure about that because many of those areas with the yuppies are right next to the projects and pockets of lower income areas. Those areas are not completely gentificated at all. All it takes is the wrong people to get merked, crime to get out of control and people will move out. NYC was always a destination city btw.

You are dreaming. Give people credit. Being poor doesn't mean you are an animal and have to kill. Crime is going to get out of control . People carry credit cards not cash, there is a camera on every corner and store. I posted before that the projects are getting privatize , look it up in the next 3 years 75% will be taken over. Leases will not be renewed and section 8 housing is going to stop. Crime will never get out control, there is too much invested in this city. People are thinking short term , the builders know most can't afford to live here and there will a new mayor or governor who mark an area or areas who will commission the building of real affordable housing that these same builders who are building the high rises will control also. Money is the only thing everyone has, same money a rich man has is just as good as a poor man in their pockets.

:mjlol: NYC has become pretty much a police state, crime in America in general has decreased over the years, and I have no reason to think crime will get crazy in NYC again. The luxury market is guaranteed to take a hit when China's major recession comes sometime within the next 2 years, but that does not mean NYC becomes NYC circa 94'.

Yeah, like others have said short of a serious crime wave which I really don't foresee happening the city is never going back to 60'-00's NY.

I admit that everywhere is getting more expensive and it is a major problem. Ny needs poor people and will have to figure something out.

Contruction along a highway dont mean much. I see multiple new buildings going up and my mind still hasnt changed.:francis:

I take the 5 from gun hill and barely any white people ever get on in the bronx. There are more white people but nothing drastic.:ld:

they are like bedbugs brody...:francis:

They seem like they not there until you see one jogging down the block...

U in the gun hill section...they not gonna be over there..

they be in and out,but they are in the hood breh..

And if its a strip like tremont 3rd ave or webster, you will see them pop up somewhere...

Alot crimes dont get reported into the statistics...:patrice:

I'll take it a step further...

When a hood gets cleaned up,the letter boys build up a case against you...for that case to get built, crimes were getting committed without action being taken...So if they said you were selling drugs for 2 years and getting violent, they didnt even bother you while you were doing what you were doing..

So is crime really that far down or are they putting technicalities on shyt :sas2:

BX stores been getting robbed frequently...nikkas going with the hammer and emptying the store..cleaning up

I feel less safe now than i did 10 years ago..:merchant:

There is nothing but scraps in the streets and these nikkas got more hammers than ever...These nikkas starving out here:leostare:

shyt...In the winter time, you could have fell back because nikkas were hibernating for summer

In the daytime, you kinda chilled because nikkas waited until night to let off...

That shyt is out the window now:wow:

nikkas is letting off at any hour with no fukks given about cameras or Grandma Jackson getting her grandbaby

Im not saying its 80s bad...but this "safe"ny isnt by any means as safe as they trying to portray...

That's facts

the thing about highbridge is that it has new buildings near the deagan so cacs can live there without people knowing theyre there

plus highbridge has a lot of houses compared to other neighborhoods in the BX

one night this past summer I was on 164 and woodycrest and I saw a bunch of cacs on the street, you would think it was Williamsburg or Bushwick

It was a dual house warming party, a group of cacs got 2 houses next to each other

but the only real neighborhoods in danger are Mott Haven, Port Morris, and maybe Morisanna & Melrose (no trains around there tho)

:ohhh::wow:

I remember that whole Anderson/WoodyCrest/Ogden 164-167 strip was:scust:

We will not see another crime wave like what we saw from the 60s-90s again because it ain't those days no more. There will always be shootings because NYC is a lucrative market for out of state arms traffickers. Guns will always find their way up here no matter how hard the NYPD tries. There is more guns in the streets then ever.

However the game has changed. There is alot of ways to make money know. More people are scamming now than selling drugs. You have street and square nikkas heavy in the credit card scamming wave. Tax fraud is going to be next. Wait till nikkas get on the tax fraud game they will make so much money so fast we will see alot of hood millionaires in a short period of time.White collar crime is the new wave right now. That means less muggings, less car jacking because these dudes are making a whole lot of money fast and don't have to worry about beef, bangouts unless they sell a bad card to the wrong nikka who run down on them. But that is rare.

If the bubble pops we will not an increase of crime tho. We may see ghost condos tho. However at that time condos and luxury apartments will be dirt cheap. It will present alot of money opportunities. Hell we may see scamming nikkas buy condos with cash since standards will be lowered by desperate landlords.:mjlol:

the domincans got that shyt mastered:wow:

as far as the scamming goes, that shyt all intertwines with the drugs and guns if you in a set...

nikkas use the bread to re-up for drugs and guns...shyt can get even uglier if a set feel they wanna "turn a hood out"..or just looking to hit a quick lick..

The olderheads who just wanna get money and fall back are way different than these youngins who feel they got something to prove or are straight greedy..

And those are the ones who make the hood "hot"and then get 50-60 nikkas indicted...

Man you ain't even see half the shyt I be frustrated about.

Imagine growing up here as a kid in the 90's during the Biggie Smalls Era and now living in this Crackertown USA replica this city has become. Did you not see the hipsterville in DUMBO I was actually DUMB enough to work there once because they paid well - NEVER AGAIN TOO MANY WHITE PEOPLE. Just 10 years ago there wasn't no fukking Midwestern Hipster type White people in Dumbo maybe NY/NJ Italians that's it.

If it wasn't for the massive amount of immigrants that still come here I would have been left. They tend to keep things neutral to counter-balance the Midwestern White transplants that make me annoyed as fukk.
