That's def the case if we counting Spanish Harlem along with Central Harlem. But I'd still like to check the numbers. Don't sleep on the amount of Africans in the area.
Due to Harlem's history, I lump the africans in with white people:yeshrug:

Their kids will end up just like us.

Not quite. I've been around them kids and while they're more Americanized, they still care to play soccer rather than play basketball. Plus many of them are religious with their own specialized mosques and churches catered to each country all over Harlem and BX.

Ghanaians for example are spread all over the BX with no central street or concentrated area(except maybe Highbridge) , but they have a very solid network where everyone knows everyone without integrating with AAs or Puerto Ricans.

It doesn't have to be larger. Increase the percentage of affordable apartments

I have a feeling that doesn't make it tenable in its current form to private development.

That's the root of the issue.

Maybe the city could come up with a new ML system but lately that has seen a lot of blowback.

Side note: I don't qualify for anything or my family members some of who work for he city/state,

Considering that Africans don't really interact with AAs heavy outside of the workfield here. Yes it's pretty bad from an AA perspective.

Even today, I rarely see any couples mixing the two communities. It's that difference in culture.

I notice in the DMV it's a lot different when i was visiting my cousins a few years ago. The Africans over there are much more integrated than the ones here.

Maybe because they are more recent immigrants than the ones in DC/MD?
