The people in the South Bronx are learning that the hard way. The problem is for my fellow Yard man, anywhere north of Gun Hill Road looks like they doing massive reconstruction on White Plains Road, building new side walks and all. South BX may be done for, but the northeast BX still has a chance of ownership.

There are a lot of then (bordering Mt. Vernon), however mad people are living in rented rooms of houses for like $600 per month.

gentrification in Harlem is very overstated

In my neighborhood I go days without seeing a white person.

If you walk along MLK or Adam Clayton Powell you see very very few whites.
