Yea, the PRs are still in NY but the Dominican and especially the Mexicans got shyt on lock. Come to Spanish Harlem these days and it's nothing but CACs and Mexicans who run that shyt now. Never thought i would see the day when PRs weren't holding Spanish Harlem down anymore.

Once the people who can't afford to live in the City decide to move, they're gonna move to Newark and Jersey City and hike the prices out there as well. NYC gentrification gonna hit Jersey too.
they've been trying to do that to jersey for years and still haven't succeeded yet. they managed to fix hoboken though.parts of Jersey City and Hoboken have been directly affected by NY's gentrfication. also places like Maplewood, South Orange, Montclair see a lot of ex Brooklynites etc. Gentrification is not limited to NYC its global
Dominicans seem to be taking over but be honest, are you sure you can tell the difference just by looking at them? They're both of similar ancestry. Although Puerto Ricans are whiter looking on average.

ny blacks should take over long island or just say fukk it and move to Atlanta. we need to dominate a city/metro like other ethnicities do (Boston Irish/ Miami Cubans etc.)
yeah if they rent is becoming unaffordable in NYC they may as well move to Long Island, it probably wouldn't even cost more depending on the town. Better schools, less negativity, etc.
There are definitely black dominated metros in the South but none up North I can think of. Since you mention Boston though, I'm pretty sure there are more blacks than Irish at this point, at least within the city.
