Let's be honest people, it was ALWAYS going to come down to Cam vs Dre. NEITHER of these dudes can stay on the court for more than 2-3 week stretches before getting hurt. It would have been a mistake to try and sign both of those cats to extensions and be forced to depend on 2 injury prone players (one being super inconsistent) going forward on premium contracts.
IMO, the choice is CLEAR who is better now and going forward between Dre and Cam. Dre is better and have more upside at damn near every area of the game and EVERYONE around the league knows this
Now package John/OO/Bogi/Gallo/whoever and get that star 2 guard to pair with Trae.
