Deku:

-Sad about not having any powers
-Literally never even worked out or exercised because he never had powers but he somehow wants to save people?
-Be gifted literally the strongest quirk on the planet because All Might was late for his interview with Mirio
-worked out for one summer and was patting himself on the back
-Literally the first One for All user to have a back catalog of quirks

MHA and it's fanbase disgusts me. I've been convinced, shyt is worse than Bleach and I regret reading/watching this trash.

It's funny how Mirio, after losing his quirk and stomping on facemask while protecting whodafuk is exactly who Deku should have been aiming to be from chapter 1.
Plot contrivances are real. Endgame doesn't happen if a rat doesn't crawl in a van.

Yes. The kid was literally breaking himself in order to use One for All. Where in the story is he gifted ac anything other through hard work not counting receiving his quirk from All Might?

Breh, if he had 1/10 the work ethic of an Asta, his body would have been fully prepared for the powers his Quirks exert. Instead he became a nerdy hermit who went on a Summer workout session & thought it would be sufficient to be the greatest hero in the world.

If he actually lived his convictions, he would have never allowed his dream to die on the table until Toshinori stumbled by and breathes life back into it.

Every struggle he's experienced, every person left unsaved, even the extra time Eri spent being tortured after he found her can be laid at his feet for being unprepared.

But if he did training and never got the quirk, what would he do with that training?

I don’t know anything about the guy you’re comparing him to.

But he’s training hard for what? What is his reason to train?

Plus Deku was in middle school too and was a nerd, so training was the last thing on his mind.

What was he training for? To be of USE to humanity, to get himself to peak Human status. What he lacked was power, so why wouldn't he have been molding himself into something USEFUL? The answer is because he'd abandoned his dream. He became a useless fan. He refused to ever take the steps to match ability to his impulses and he'll never be great because of it.

But he was not going to be given a quirk though. He had no quirk, and he wouldn’t be a hero without one.

He can train sure, but if he doesn’t get a quirk, what can he do hero wise?

Him having muscles wouldn’t do anything for humanity.

The other guy you’re talking about from the other anime, didn’t y’all say he had a more confident personality or something? Or did he know he was gonna get powers?

I think it all comes down to Deku accepting his role in life without a quirk because even with this quirk he’s still a nerdy fan-boy.

A quirkless person has no reason to train, a regular human would get stomped out in the MHA universe

In BC they're a bunch of people with magic but at the end of the day their bodies are still that of a regular human, so it's easier for someone to not have magic and still beat the breaks off someone. There's plenty of characters in MHA that no matter how swole you get you're not doing nothing against them unless you have a quirk

Asta gets saved by his sword and demon form anyway he would've died a long time ago if he didn't have those or the magic cat.

So you both are going to contract convenient amnesia and ignore the fact that there's an entire police force with plenty of Quirk-less humans in MHA? :unimpressed:

They tackle crime and save lives everyday, facing death at the hands of powered individuals but Deku just had no choice huh? :unimpressed:

Y'all got it, I can see you're going to find an excuse for the boy regardless so Imma let you cook. :hubie:

He could do that too, but he doesn’t have to train since he was in middle school.

It’s all good bro.

One could say that about;

Inuyasha
Asta
and especially Luffy.

Cool action beat moments does not equal a cool character.

Light
Edward Elric
Spike
Lupin

All character who are multi dimensional, without needing several cool scenes to sum them up.
I thought Spike was always considered cool?
