lost me at "smart as shyt"

dude needed half a training arc to realize legs are for kicking :dead: :dead:

deku is a whole ass idiot with the best support structure in shonen lmao. dude literally got people in his head managing his powers for him, the only one in the cast with a mentor worth a damn, and still manages to do shyt the hard way because he won't grow up.

All might is actually a terrible mentor so far. Hasn't taught Deku shyt. The only thing I will give him is that he encourages him to act with his heart. But the only thing he's taught him about using his Quirk is "squeeze your buttcheeks" so lets not do that. Gran Torino taught Deku more about one for all (a power he never even had) in 10 minutes than all might did in 6 months

And you're avoiding his planning and tactics just because he real he realize can kick? The thing is he always knew that he can kick.. He was just tryna be like his Hero. He was blinded by wanting to be exactly like All Might.

He was the only one in the class who "thought" (comprised any semblance of strategy) when they went 20 VS 1 against Lemon Lime. So either the whole class is retarded or Deku is smart as shyt. LeLemon zest still bested him but it took him 4 moves while he annihilated the rest of the class in one move. His 14yrs of analytics came into play... so yeah he's smart as shyt :yeshrug:

Once he learned full cowl he immediately started moving around the battle field like Bakugo. I can give more examples

you can pick all might or torino, and its still better than being stuck with best jeanist or orca man :dead:

im weak at 'lemon lime' instead of lemillion tho ngl - but getting hit the most when everyone gets washed does not make you the smartest :mjlol:

imagine if bakugo just blew himself more as the villains he fought got progressively stronger. that's literally the gameplan the majority of dekus fights until he gets the cheatcodes. who loses first.

Being able to anticipate his move while no one else could while simultaneously worrying about getting teabagged is a feat within itself though :russ:

And I still respect Deku for being willing to take it there every single time. He has to have some type of PTSD but he doesn't care. And it's not like he isnt training in-between fights or worrying about how not to continue injuring himself. many people would be dead if he didn't risk his body like that. His heart and courage is way above his body at this moment but he'll catch up
