I've been blessed enough to not have lost a grandparent yet, and I have 3 sets. I fear that day is coming soon and I don't know how I will handle it. I haven't lost any close family members and I don't know how ill cope. You'll be in my thoughts OP

Obviously, you are upset because he's gone. I get that. Focus on how blessed he was to live 71 years (assuming those were mostly good and healthy years) and that you had the pleasure to call him your grandpa (assuming he was a good dude which it seems he was, otherwise why would you be upset). Not trying to be callous. Just thinking you should be focusing on the blessings and celebrating the life he had. But everybody handles grief in different ways.
