Counter Steering. Ever ride a bicycle? Counter Steering is a great technique because you change directions way quicker than leaning. So if a car gets in your lane, counter steering will get you out the way with much more efficiency instead of leaning

might as well call countersteering daddy, brehs...

Push left, go left. Push right, go right.
This would be the easier lingo for a novice to grasp & remember. The whole counter steering explanation might confuse a newbie too much and lead to target fixation ijs

Congrats on the pickup, I have 2 Honda CBR600's myself. Best thing you can do is invest in safety gear, drive defensively and alert, do some track days at your local track.

Nothing worse than a theif!

If you got access to a pole or can drill an anchor into the concrete a thick chain and lock through the swingarm would keep it where its at when you park. Wheel locks are decent too, have to get the kind that goes through the brake disc with a reminder cord, if you try to roll out with it on it'll f up the wheel.

And always wear gear, don't let nobody try to pressure you into going without it. Those people don't take into account that OTHER drivers will be the ones that can cause an accident.

Yeah breh told me the meth heads had already stolen 4 bikes off the block so I been looking for a disc lock,so the one in the last pic you pasted. And yeah the first thing I did was buy all my gear cuz the dealership gave me a good discount

How much are used r3s? Are they around the same price as used ninja 400s? I’m looking for beginners bikes myself.

N400s are going for $3600-$4100. Dont matter what year because they have made no changes since the 400 debuted. Each year just has a different color option. Get the ninja over an R3. They are a little bigger and more usable around town with the torque. The new 19-20 R3s are high revving. They nice bikes though.

I got a 13 Ducati Monster 696 Anniversary edition I’m selling though if you trying to buy something. I’m letting it go for cheap to offset the Supersport I bought.

Yeah it was basically new I think 300 miles. My patience was wearing thin cuz every other dealer in LA wanted almost $6k out the door for 2018/2019 Honda CBR300R, I didn’t wanna buy from private seller so that was the best deal for me.
