You can do that, but counter steering is way more effective in emergency situations. Your turning radius is bigger and quicker. It's saved a lot of lives

So, in conclusion, when a rider needs to make an emergency left turn- let’s say to avoid hitting an 18 wheeler that just pulled out in front of him- the rider is to turn the handlebars to the RIGHT, to achieve this emergency left turn.

Because “cOunTer sTeEriNg”.

Got it.

You’re going to be dead before winter hits.

Yoooo I’m under 21 so I got my permit for 6 months, couldn’t hit the freeway so I had to ride my motorcycle thru the Santa Susana pass for those familiar with Los Angeles it was quite the journey from Simi Valley to damn near Sherman oaks. Homeboi at Simi Valley cycles met my price range with no hesitation, every other dealership I fuxked with wanted to tack on $2k in bullshyt dealer markup excluding taxes and titling:stopitslime:. Lol I don’t even wanna drive cars anymore, just motorcycles like I’m on some Sam Flynn shyt:russ:i was bragging to the ladies I’d hit the beach with em but now imma have to ride there thru side streets and whatnot:russ:

Congratulations breh

Exactly. Pull handle bars right, turn left. I've taken motorcycle courses by trained veteran riders who often go to the track, so don't worry about me. Your ignorance is what's gonna get you killed

Have you ever ridden a motorcycle before? Or a bike?

Get on a bicycle, ride to about 10mph then slightly pull the right, you'll feel the bike drift left.

Breh..I don't know what in the hell he was talking about, but there's no way he's driven a sportbike and haven't used counter steering..Maybe on a big-ass cruiser..I own a Hayabusa and live in Atlanta..You get out here in the city, and not know how to counter-steer you won't last long...

Breh, you sound clueless. Do you even have basic common sense. :gucci:

Look, no matter how many YouTube videos you post try to post to back your theory, it’s WRONG. Countersteering my Black ass. :mjlol:

If I’m on a motorcycle, going fast OR going slow(doesn’t even matter), and I’d like for the bike to go left, then that is the direction I’m going to turn the handlebars. :dwillhuh:

And guess what? :dwillhuh:

The motorcycle is going to go LEFT, not RIGHT. Mind blowing, I know. :dwillhuh:
fam it’s real countersteering is what u do when u ride at higher speeds. It sounded crazy to me too but that’s how u manage a real bike. It’s actually fascinating when u do it too!
Bike life is the shyt btw, every real nicca needs a bike. Whores love it, niccas envy it.

Maybe my wording confuses him.

Most people say push left, go left. My instincts tell me to pull right, which is essentially pushing left.

You can turn a bike at high speeds by leaning, but it's nowhere near effective as counter steering. Ole boy doesn't realize he's been counter steering since he was a kid

He doesn’t ride so he doesn’t get it. Like you said, people don’t realize that they’ve been countersteering since they learned to ride a bicycle. The easiest way to get them to understand is that when you are start a turn by leaning, to make sure the bike doesn’t overlean, you turn the handlebars the other way. It happens so fast and naturally that ppl don’t realize what they actually did.
