No my death was the same whether I believed in magic or not. The only difference is my perception of dying while I was alive. I was more welcome to death as a Christian, which makes sense as it's a death cult, but I still had my fears of "forever" and being around millions of years from now just worshiping god. Now I figure death is the same experience you had before you were born

bro, did you not know noahs ark did not hold 2 of every animal in the world? it was a message, but the real noahs ark does exist in a same african faith story that predates the bible.

if you dont know what took place in the council of nicea 325AD then you are not a historian or know much about the bible.

The old testament is definitely not talking about the same god as the new testament

And yea i agree thats a hard logical hurdle to jump over. I think for me, i i could never get past god telling the hebrews to kill and enslave their neighbors. Even tells them to murder all the children.
Also the bible says to kill witches. Witches have to be real first
Of course i know what that is. Sorry im not really interested in debating you. Ive spent YEARS studying this stuff already. I dont see the point in debating. Believe what you want, let me do the same. And im not atheist. I just think all earthly religions are man made. And its especially obvious with the abrahamic religions

I think the whole point is that its supposed! to be hard to have faith in God. He basically weeding out the weak, which is you.
But I get it... and I've been there, I think we all have.
What I think many people get wrong is that that they believe God is supposed to help them in the physical world i.e. People pray for physical things like money or for their sports team to win..but that never works.. so that should tell you God doesn't operate like that.
I think he operates more in the spiritual world i.e. "God protect my family from any spiritual attacks." So people get disappointed when their physical requests don't get answered and lose faith. But him answering physical requests wouldn't make sense... he can't make everybody rich everytime they pray for money, and he can't make both sports teams win because people on opposite sides have both prayed for it...
When you expect less from God.. you'll be less disappointed and less likely to lose faith.

I always hated that story of Job.. who had to kill his whole family to prove his commitment to God. Like that family was hella disposable.

Just a lot of suffering I've endured since I was a child, and I always prayed and cried and prayed more but I continued to suffer and face misfortune. Can't go into detail. Kept doing what was right and kept praying, only to face more suffering and misfortune. Eventually as an adult I just became spiritually jaded and gave up
