It's true even if you take away the racial aspect of it, living and being dependent on someone else can humble you quickly. A lot of guys can be a$$holes when it comes to things like that. The minute you do something they don't like they'll be quick to remind you who pays for shyt and quickly put you in ur place. You just have to decide if that's something ur willing to put up with for free room and board or whatever the situation might be.
