Superstar
My point is in Smallville, as an adolescent, it makes sense for “ who am I“ to be apart of his struggle. That’s a relatable question.Huh? In most adaptations, Superman usually finds out that he has powers when he is a teenager, but sometimes he finds out earlier (like in this show).
This has nothing to do with Superboy.
Huh? Have you watched a Superman cartoon before lol? Also, your statements don't really have anything to do with what I said.
In most adaptations, Superman learns to accept his status as "Earth's greatest defender and protector." However, he still deals with the identity crisis of being an "alien" (the persona of "Superman" is his Kryptonian side) while also being a "human" (his alter ego Clark Kent and his adoptive human parents, the Kents).
Superman's attempting to balance those two things are central to his character.
my statement was they lean too heavily on his Krypton as part of his struggle. So for you to say most adaptations use this identity crisis is exactly what I’m saying is repetitive about how they use his” alieness” for drama. Just find the drama in being Superman and Clark Kent is all I’m saying. Leave the Kal-el/Jor-el stuff out for once.
The fact Superman and Lois mined a different part of his struggle as Superman and father means there are other things to explore about his dichotomy
