I'm a sucker for fish out of water stories, so I really like this adaptation of Supergirl.
Did not expect her to be an enemy to Superman though.

She is usually being brainwashed or manipulated in some way. The show is following this theme because it's clear from the episode that Kara has some hesitancy (and will most likely end up being on the good side by the end of the season).
